I checked in on the St. Augustine (SAARS) Net tonight and made my first contact as a ham radio operator. I was number 11 of about 14 to check in. (There were some latecomers.)
Net control was K4GOP (Dave). I checked in on a Yaesu FT-60. It was a 2-meter net on frequency 146.625 MHz.
