Mary Sunshine

My precious girl, Mary got married tonight. Here she is doing the shag with her dad.

It was a beautiful wedding. I love that family. Seeing them all was a great joy.

After the wedding, we saved a dog from certain death on the highway in front of the state park. She was a pretty girl with a collar. A deputy came and picked her up. He agreed to let the window down a little while he drives for her to stick her nose out.

Christmas in Dixie

We had ourselves a merry little Christmas with my parents, brother, and sister-in-law. Gifts were exchanged, foods were consumed, stories were told and made.
I'm blessed to still have my parents.
I am most thankful though for the precious man pictured here. Mysweetwilliam drove me home for Christmas and made all these memories possible.

I surprised my family quite a bit when it was time to pass out presents last night and I transformed into Mrs. Claus. Nothing like a costume to get folks in the mood to unwrap presents!

Christmas Camping

We've been enjoying our time at Lake Greenwood. The weather has been pleasant. We slept with the windows open last night as a matter of fact.
Camping at Christmas has been a lot of fun so far. We have some decorations outside and a tiny tree (decorated) inside. Bill strung some lights around one of the windows inside too. There is even mistletoe hanging from the antenna crank.

It's good to be home for the holidays.

Home for the Holidays

This is where we will be living until the first of the year. I have camped at a number of different places, but like this place best. Oddly enough, it's in the same county where I spent the first 30 years of my life trying to leave.
