Expectations

P42

Last night, William asked me if this full timer lifestyle was living up to my expectations. The truth is that I didn't know what to expect. As I reflected on it today though, I've come to the realization that I would do this full time without hesitation. I'm having a blast!

Date Night

P36

While visiting my family in Greenwood, we had Friday night date night with Bubba and Kathy. (Nobody in this world but me calls Dan Wideman "bubba" except me, btw. He's not the kind of guy you associate with that name. He just so happens to be my big brother. When I couldn't say brother, Bubba worked and stuck. I digress.)
I loved Friday date night. It brought us closer. We've been gone 2 Fridays now. Bubba has called both date nights. We used to go months without talking. We just didn't take time to connect. That's all changed now. He said that he'll be calling every Friday night from now on.
I'm so thankful for the time we spent with my family this winter.

FETC

P322

I drove down to Orlando today to present with my friend and colleague Steve Dembo. Our presentation went well I think, especially for our first time presenting this session, and first time presenting together.
After our presentation, the team had an "eating meeting" at Cafe Tu Tu Tango. I love that restaurant.

A Little History

P310

We spent the day trolleying around St. Augustine. We went to the Fountain of Youth. It was mostly disappointing, but we did find a replacement letter opener sword for mysweetwilliam. We explored a number of historical sites including the Castillo de San Marcos. This fort is over 350 years years old. While there, we got an annual National Parks' pass. We're ready for our summer out west now.

Angry Bird

P306

We went flea marketing with Jim and Bette Murray today. I love the new animal hats, and the angry bird almost came home with me. I decided an angry bird picture would suffice. That's my angry face!

We also spent quite a bit of time hanging out in their neighborhood. I think I should move to a retirement community sometimes. The folks there do all the things I like to do.

For dinner, we headed into town and ate at Hooked on Harry's. Yum!
